Czech Republic

Teachers (grades 6-12) and two-year college teachers of art, English as a second language, English literature, music, social studies (including civic education), science, or physical education.

Language of instruction is English. Fluency in Czech not required; some ability useful.

Estonia

Teachers (grades 7-12) and two-year college in social studies, world history, geography, art, music and computer science. ESL and EFL teachers of all levels. Teachers of other subjects will be considered for (grades 9-12) or two-year colleges.

Language of instruction is English. Fluency in Estonian not required.

Finland

Teachers (grades 7-12) of English as a second language, physical education, music, art, science, math, biology, and geography; or two-year college faculty in all fields.

Language of instruction is English. Fluency in Finnish not required.

France

Teachers (grades 7-12) and two- or four-year college faculty teaching French. Teacher’s U.S. assignment should consist only of French language, literature and civilization.

Fluency in French required.

Germany

Teachers (grades 7-12) and two- or four-year college faculty teaching German, English or other subjects.

Fluency in German highly desirable. Intensive German language courses may be available to acquire recommended conversational skills.

Ghana

Teachers (grades 9-12) of social studies, math and science.

Hungary

Teachers (grades 7-12) of mathematics, science, (biology, chemistry, computer science, geography and physics), English, English as a second language, foreign language, history, art, music or education.

Peru

Slovak Republic

Language of instruction is English. Fluency in Slovak not required; some ability useful. A two-day Slovak survival course will be offered during the orientation program in the Slovak Republic.

South Africa

Teachers (grades 8-12) of science and math.

Fluency in Spanish is required.

Switzerland

Teachers (grades 7-12) and two- or four-year college faculty teaching German, French, Italian, English, ESL, Spanish, Russian, Latin, economics, mathematics, science, history, geography, art, music, physical education or computer science.

Proficiency in German, French, or Italian strongly recommended. Lang. of instruction is generally English, except when teaching a foreign lang., Some Swiss schools may request U.S. teachers to teach non-lang. classes in German, French, or Italian.

Turkey

Teachers (grades 7-12) of English, English as a second language, science (including computer science) or mathematics.
